What’s your favourite primer? Do you use any?
There are so many primers out there and i only ever use my MAC fix+ spray, I’ve been using it for years but i thought i would try something new.
Although, there’s that saying, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” :-/. I researched into which primer would work on my skin and tested a few out in stores and finally came to the decision to go with a No.7 primer, retailing at £12.50.

I personally feel that you can tell the difference, it slightly brightens under the eye reducing lines and dark marks, it is a really good primer…however after a few days of using this product i unfortunately broke out in spots :-(. I should have known! Me and No.7 skin products do not match! So i stopped using it and decided to try a Clinique primer because i use some of their skin care products and have never broken out (touch wood!).

Superprimer Face Primer, your foundations new best friend! Oil free light weight formula gives skin a natural perfected appearance smoothing skins texture and improving foundation quality of wear. Available for six concerns including a universal shade and colour correcting shades.
I have got the universal shade but the other colour correcting shades available are;

I have been using this primer for a couple of days now and so far its working well, I’ve had no breakouts and no allergic reactions. Even though the last primer left me with a few spots this primer hasn’t made my skin any worse. I’m on the mend! Clinique super primer retails at £20.00.
As you can see from the pictures i have been left with slight blemishes from the No.7 primer, so to protect my skin i bought a new suncream from clinique, retailing at £18.00.
The primer and the suncream work together well too, I’m not left greasy or shiny. Also another good thing about the suncream is that it doesn’t leave your face blue or a funny colour, it seems to be quite translucent on the skin :-).
Other primers i would like to try are…
1. CHANEL LE BLANC DE CHANEL – Multi Use Illuminating Base – £33.00
2. SMASHBOX – Photo finish foundation primer – £25.00
3. LAURA MERCIER – Foundation Primer – £29.00
4. CLARINS – Beauty Flash Balm Instant radiance – £29.00
5. BENEFIT -the POREfessional PRO balm to minimise the appearance of pores – £24.50
…as I’ve heard they are quite good. I just don’t want to risk another breakout haha!
Thanks for stopping by…:-) 💋

Great post! I love primers, I use them on a daily basis… You have to try the Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer or the Smashbox Oil Free Hydrating Primer. 💗

I love your before and after photo, you can really see a difference. I use the l’oreal studio primer, its the only one i’ve tried so I can’t really compare it to anything. What I do want to try though is a BB cream!
