EGG WHITE BUBBLE CLEANSER BY {MIZON} Review

I love trying out and discovering new products especially when they work!  A couple of weeks ago i thought i would check out a new cleanser by Mizon called Egg white Bubble cleanser.

It contains….

Water, Methylglucamine, Butylene Glycol, Lauric Acid, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Pvp, Olive Oil Peg-7 Esters, Myristic Acid, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Egg Shell Membrane Extract, Cocamide Dea, Peg-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Trehalose, Citric Acid, Allantoin, Vaccinium Myrtillus Fruit/Leaf Extract, Saccharum Officinarum (Sugar Cane) Extract, Acer Saccharum (Sugar Maple) Extract, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Fruit Extract, Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Fruit Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Carica Papaya(Papaya) Fruit Extract, Gypsophila Paniculata Root Extract, Disodium Edta, Dmdm Hydantoin, Fragrance

Cultbeauty.co.uk describes Mizon’s Egg White Bubble Cleanser as;

the ultimate purifying and rebalancing daily face wash for all skin types – eliminating pore-clogging dirt and pollutants, whilst gently exfoliating dulling dead skin to effortlessly restore your complexion to its flawless and luminous best. With papaya, bilberry root/leaf, sugar cane, orange, lemon and gypsophila extracts, to dissolve the bonds that bind sluggish and lacklustre cells to skin’s surface; alongside the star ingredient – egg white extract (3,200mg) – which purges pores of impurities to leave your face looking (and feeling) as smooth and silky as porcelain. Hyaluronic acid and trehalose then combine to attract and retain precious moisture, so skin feels comfortably soft and dewy, with a youthful and luminous glow.

IMG_4713 My Thoughts

I was so excited to try this new product and read up on it before i purchased it.  I have oily skin so i thought it would be fine.

I read instructions on how to use the cleanser and followed them exactly, which are;

Apply 3 – 4 pumps to lightly dampened skin, massaging thoroughly to eliminate make up and residue. Rinse with lukewarm (but not hot) water, and then splash your face with cold water (or an icy flannel) to tighten pores.

The next day i woke up with massive boils on my nose and cheeks.  So either the cleanser brought the dirt to the surface of my skin and my pores became clogged or it’s just no good for me.

I have only used it once and i am worried about using it again because i don’t fancy getting massive boils again!

It’s such a shame that my skin reacted to it in this way because at first it seemed like such a nice foam wash cleanser, it has a nice smell, texture etc.  It even feels nice on the skin but i will not be taking any risks with it again.

You can pick this cleanser up from lots of places such as; Urban Outfitters, Amazon, Cultbeauty, PeachandLilly and it retails for about £19.00

From my personal experience this is not the best foam cleanser i have tried, so i wouldn’t recommend it but as i say that’s my personal experience.

Have you ever tried this foam cleanser and had a different experience? Let us know in the comment section below….

And as always thanks for stopping by…

    Ahhh, I don’t think I’ve tried any foam cleansers, sorry this one was a disappointment! I heard a lot of things related to eggs being excellent for oily skin! So surprised

  3. Jeez! That’s terrible! Do you think it was the actual cleanser that did that? I would think that egg whites would clog your pores!
