bareMinerals Cray Cray

Howdyyy!  Beware this is another bareMinerals post, haha…but sharing is caring :-)…

I’ve become obsessed with bareMinerals (can you tell?).  I cannot believe i have only just discovered it…My sister now even uses it (although she tried the liquid foundation and it gave her an itchy face- NOT GOOD-apart from that slight blip…she loves the powder).

I have bought 2 more products from the bareMinerlas range and i must say they are pretty awesome.

The first product i bought was the Illuminating Mineral Veil.

At first i was so indecisive and unsure about this…

Hmmm…. i felt a bit iffy about this product, i thought i would look a bit to glittery but to my surprise it had a really subtle finish and in the light it looked even better!

What i like most about this product, is that it feels like you have nothing on your skin and it looks so nice on.

I have been sweeping it over my eyelids in the day instead of eyeshadow.  When the light hits your face the powder makes you look glowing and bright  but not like you’ve been in a glitter explosion haha!

Hopefully the picture below of the powder on my hand demonstrates how the powder looks on skin…IMG_1148http___makeagif.com__media_11-24-2014_7Ye4ZK Just a slight glittery effect as the light hits the powder on skin.

I love it!

For the second product i picked up the bareMinerals ready foundation, this is a powder foundation and i got it in the colour R410.

Finding my shade

Well i wasn’t really sure what shade to go for, it’s hard to look over the internet sometimes because…

No. 1 Not everyone reviews the products they buy, so sometimes you’ve got nothing to go off.  You’ve got to just try it out and hope for the best.

No.2 The colours aren’t always the true colour shown online and are better in real life…

Apart from this i managed to find my shade…i think.

Well i looked up as much as i could and then went to the bareMinerals counter with an idea of what i wanted.  I had about 3 possible shades i wanted to look at and i spent about an hour on the counter trying them out and looking at all the different products!

I even spoke about a possible job on the counter haha!  With my research and the help of the beauty advisor, I finally found the shade in which i thought was best.

In my previous post i discussed how i have stopped using foundations but i would like to have a bit more coverage for special occasions and nights out.

I absolutely love this product!

It looks nice alone or with a bit of concealer underneath.

I love the box that the foundation comes in it’s so simple and creative but looks cute!

The picture below shows me with the bare minerals products on and i love the results, excuse my sore eye…
